Matt originated the role of Chris in the 2nd National Tour of Miss Saigon with wonderful success. His portrayal of an American G.I. who falls in love with a young Vietnamese girl during the turmoil of the Fall of Saigon garnered rave reviews. He went on to star in the Broadway production, which brought a new and exciting feel to the character at the Broadway Theatre.

Matt can still be seen in advertisements for Miss Saigon on billboards, buses, and cabs all over the city of New York. The same photos are also still being used for advertisements across the country for the 2nd National Tour.
